We are often on automatic with the sole intent of checking something else off the list, getting to the next task, and missing out on what you’re doing and how you’re feeling in the present moment.  Have you heard someone say they arrived at their destination, and "I don't even remember driving!"  Did you notice how the great the shower felt, or how breakfast tasted, or on your way to work the dance of the bare tree branches swaying in the cold wind of winter?

Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment.  No judgement...just observation.  Mindfulness has been scientifically  proven to be a key element in:
